Ensuring the security of your organization is a top priority for PrecisionX Technology. An Organization Access Code (OAC) is a code which changes periodically and is used to validate that the identity of your users.
The OAC is a 10 character alpha numeric code. Each position in the code can contain either a letter or a number. The code is assigned randomly by PrecisionX Technology and cannot be changed.
Your OAC will be provided by your Account Manager to your Security Administrator once your Client Intake process has been completed. It will be sent via the PrecisionX Technology ticketing system, allowing for easy access in the future.
You may share your OAC with any members of your organization who you wish to be able to contact PrecisionX Technology to obtain assistance, services, or otherwise interact with your account. In most situations, it is acceptable and appropriate to share your OAC with all of the users within your organization. Your OAC should not be shared publicly or with anyone at your organization that you do not wish to be able to contact the PrecisionX Technology helpdesk team for assistance.
Your OAC will be changed periodically to help promote the security of your account. The OAC will be changed:
At least once every quarter
Any time it is necessitated by an internal event at PrecisionX Technology, such as a change in key administrative personnel
Upon request of your Security Administrator
By contacting the PrecisionX Technology helpdesk team with your organization's name and OAC, the PrecisionX Technology team will consider the individual authorized to receive assistance and obtain general support appropriate for users of your organization.
Certain sensitive functions require additional authorization beyond what is provided by the OAC. While the OAC is typically utilize as the "first step" in identifying a user's organization when they initiate contact via telephone, live chat, and email, sensitive functions, including those detailed within the Account Access and Privileges section, require that the individual submitting the request be uniquely identified and authorized. In such situations, PrecisionX Technology will use the users Validation Passphrase to validate the request. See Passphrases for Individual Authorization for more information.
